Sacred Space Memorial

Roses on Memorial Wall

Economic Opportunity

Sacred Space Memorial's primary function is to build a touchstone that unites your institution's past with its present. But we also provide you with a substantial cash flow with literally zero risk.

Here is how a typical project proceeds: Sacred Space initially consults with your pastor, business manager, or similar official, on the concept of building a columbarium. Once the concept is approved, a committee is put together to agree on a design and scope for the memorial. Once the scope of the design is determined, Sacred Space, with the support of the organization, embarks upon selling an agreed-upon percentage of the total niches in the columbarium. Until Sacred Space achieves its sales goal, all proceeds are placed into an ESCROW account.

Once the sales goal is achieved, we use the revenue to proceed with the construction of the columbarium. Meanwhile, the remaining niches are given to the institution in a turnkey handoff with the sales momentum in place.  The project has at this point been paid for in full, so the future sale of these niches represents pure profit.

Eliminating all risk to you

Typically, when a columbarium is built, the greatest obstacle is raising funds for the initial construction. But with Sacred Space, there is no out-of-pocket expense to you, and no risk. Our entire process is transparent, and done with total integrity. Sacred Space removes the fear of failure and the worry that your church might lose its hard-earned money. Meanwhile, we work with your leadership to create demand for the product, build consensus, put complete inventory and management systems into place, and answer follow-up questions.

Sacred Space also ensures there are no painful compromises to the design of the columbarium. A budget is set to build an optimal memorial on the grounds of your institution. If those funds cannot be achieved, the project does not go forward. Furthermore, these memorials are easily expandable as demand rises in subsequent years, and they can be made portable in the event they must be moved. Our designs are also versatile, and allow you to create space for inurnment in places you might previously have considered unusable. Whether the project is in-ground or free standing, inside your building or attached to a retaining or exterior wall, a memorial is constructed to suit your unique needs.

Because I have loved life,
I shall have no sorrow to die.
— Amelia Burr

Death-care expenses are inevitable. Cemeteries are filling up, and prices there are getting higher. By building a columbarium, you are providing an affordable and meaningful option your congregation might not otherwise have. In the end, you are enabling families to put this profound ministry - and the revenues associated to it - in your hands, rather than in those of a death-care corporation.

Sacred Space ultimately removes all of the financial obstacles and other stumbling blocks that might stand in the way of creating a sense of heritage on the grounds of your institution.
