David Alberto Orozco age 53 passed away at Regional Medical Hospital on May 13, 2018. David was born May 27, 1964 in Deming, New Mexico to Juan Ignacio Orozco and Emma Grijalva. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School where he played on the Varsity tennis team and was voted "The best dressed" by his senior class. He lived up to that standard all his life.
David graduated from Cal Poly in 1988 with an Architectural degree and studied abroad for a year in 1989 in London, returning in 1990. David worked as an architect at HPC Architecture for 20+ years and was a mentor to most of the staff. David is survived by his wife Matty who he began his union with in 2010 and eventually married on Feb. 24, 2014. His children Natalie, Andrew, his Mother Emma and stepfather Ray, and brother Marco, step children Cynthia, Prem, Nicholas, Jay, Michael and Tommy. His grandchildren Jacob, Olivia, Nathaniel, and Penelope, and brothers Alex, Albert, and Arnold, sisters, Veronica, Rebecca and Marissa.
David was larger than life with a contagious personality and smile. He touched so many lives and had friends all over the world, some from school but mostly from his love of VW's. Whoever had the privilege of being part of his life knew he was a keeper. David had an eye for detail and took pride in everything he did. He was a very happy, sharp, funny, clever, resourceful, loving, but most of all generous man and we were all lucky to be part of his life. He will forever be in our hearts and missed immensely.
