"On Sunday October 13th, 2019, Louis Matthew Viorato passed away in San Jose, CA at the age of 40. Louis was born on October 3, 1979 in Santa Clara, CA to Teresa Lopez and Louis Sanz Viorato.
He is survived by his mother, Teresa Lopez, his father, Louis Sanz Viorato, his grandmother, Bertha Sanchez, his sister Sara Viorato, his nephew, Diego Gonzales, his niece, Cali Hernandez. He had three loving aunts, three uncles, and many cousins.
Louis grew up in San Jose, CA graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1998. After graduating from High School, Louis spread his wings and ventured out to San Diego, CA where he attended College and fell in love with the Pacific Ocean. He enjoyed going to the beach to body surf.
Louis found his way back to his family in San Jose and attended San José State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and was in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising. Louis had the perfect personality for sales. He was outgoing and could easily strike up a conversation with anyone.
The one thing he loved growing up was playing baseball, from Little League as a young boy, to The American Legion Adult Baseball League, in San Diego, CA. Louis was a big fan of the San Francisco Giants and enjoyed going out to AT&T Park to watch the team live.
Louis had a very warm personality that made him easy to love. He enjoyed making other people happy especially Cali and Diego. He would always have candy or treat in his backpack for his niece and nephew. These small gestures showed how big his heart was. He was always thinking about his family which makes losing him so painful.
Louis always talked of one day returning to San Diego. Family will be taking Louis’ ashes back to San Diego, CA and placing him back in the Pacific Ocean. The place where he found so much joy and peace.
We will all miss him so much."
