Sandra Robinson (née Cottrill) died unexpectedly on 12th September 2019, and is survived by her loving husband Ian Robinson and children Amelia, Isobel, Harry and Edward. Sandra was born in Melbourne, Australia on 22nd June 1961, the cherished daughter of Anne and Kevin Cottrill, and beloved sister to Fran, Bernadette, Lisa, Nigel and Marcus.
Sandra married Ian Robinson in 1984 and moved to California in 1994 with her family, where she worked as an interior designer for more than 20 years. She studied interior design and architecture at West Valley College, where she was an inspiration for fellow students.
Sandra was the beloved mother-in-law of Matt and Christian, daughter-in-law of Pam and Jim, sister-in-law of Cameron and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Throughout her active life, Sandra was passionate about art, architecture, design, fashion, healthy eating and cooking for her loved ones. She was well-known in the Almaden community for her long daily walks and passion for local organic fruit and vegetables. Her legendary kitchen was always open.
Our hearts are broken and she is missed beyond words.
