Obituary ALPHRETTA "Alphi" CARROLL SHERRILL ALPHRETTA “Alphi” CARROLL SHERRILL was was born in Freeport, Florida on July 5, 1926. She was the youngest and only daughter of Calvin and Clara Williamson. On May 14, 2022, Alphi transitioned peacefully to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, her only sibling, Robert Doward Williamson, and her eldest child and only son, Sundiata Sherrell and granddaughter, Malaika Sherrell. Alphi is survived by her husband and best friend George; five daughters, Marsha Sherrill, Marva “Dent” Sherrill, Mell Woodson, Letitia Dixon (Keith), and Celeste Soto; her loving grandchildren Beecher "Hank" Sykes, Michael Sherrill, Kayla and Cherise Dixon, Sri and Sundiata Sherrell (their mother Sandra Sherrell), and Jason Soto; plus five wonderful great grandchildren Kenny Jackson, Tatyana McCreight (Grant), Ally, Jayda, Isaiah, and Elijah Sykes and two great-great grandchildren, Landon and Sierra McCreight, and a myriad of others that loved her dearly. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Park Victoria Baptist Church, 875 S. Park Victoria Dr., Milpitas, CA, 95035. Please note those attending the memorial service will be required to wear a mask. Due to the rise of COVID cases, there will not be a repast at the church and no gathering at the Sherrill's family home.
