Obituary With deepest sorrow, we announce that Andreas Heinz Dannenberg, 54, our most beloved father, son, brother, life partner, family member, and friend passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his home. Those who knew Andreas lost a shining light in their lives. Andreas will be missed everyday by his sons Antonio, Alexander, and Oliver Dannenberg, his father Kurt Heinz Dannenberg, mother Monika Dannenberg, brother Manfred Dannenberg, sister-in-law Stefanie Dannenberg, life partner Charlotte Perry, his loving niece Darlena Dannenberg, nephews Marc and Martin Dannenberg, Gabo and Carlitos Zapata, and many great friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Andreas was born in Berlin Germany in 1966. He was a very bright, kindhearted, and loving son. His years growing up with his family in Germany were full of joy and excitement. In 1972, he started his first year of elementary school. Andreas was fascinated with electronics. After attending high school he began his career in electronics by securing an apprenticeship at Siemens AG, Berlin. While spending his days as an apprentice, he attended night-classes to become an Electrical and Electronics Engineer. In 1991, he finalized his degree to become a Data Processing Technician. In 1997, his employer Siemens AG helped provide his Green Card, which allowed him to live and work in the US. Two years later, he began working in the semiconductor branch of Siemens called Infineon. In 2000 Andreas worked with a team to accomplish two patents for Infineon Technologies AG. He eventually moved to Morgan Hill, California working as an operations manager with Infineon RF, later acquired by Cree. Throughout Andreas' life, he enjoyed outdoor physical activity. He enjoyed hiking, gardening, working out, playing sports, and running. He dedicated his life to being healthy and environmentally conscious. The highlight of his day was cooking meals for his family. He cultured sourdough and ground grains because he loved to bake bread. He also loved gardening and eating organic foods. In an effort to avoid chemicals, he made his own toothpaste, soap, and laundry detergent. Andreas was deeply committed to being a loving father. He wanted to make his sons’ lives with him fun and memorable. He treasured every moment spent with his boys from Friday movie night, playing "pan-ball" in the park (Andreas' invention), playing cards, to Saturday-Morning-Trampoline Breakfast. He taught them to admire and respect nature. As their role model, he exemplified empathy, honor, integrity, and compassion. Andreas was a dedicated and loving life partner. He was faithful, supportive, and encouraging. He expressed his love through his actions and words, and always with humor. We love and miss you so much our dear Andreas.
