Mr. Harry Dean Deupser Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harry “Dean” Deupser, 85, of Castroville passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. We are certain that he was greeted at Heaven’s gates by many family members and friends who have gone before him and heard “Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant.” He was born on July 14, 1936 to Harry Deupser and Edna (Baker) Deupser in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was the oldest of 3 children. He married the love of his life on May 23, 1959. Together they raised 3 children, Michael, Kimberly, and Kenneth. He graduated from Salinas High School, then attended Hartnell Community College. He joined the Navy and served 6 years. Later, he went to Chico College to become an inspector. He was a man of many gifts, he was a mechanic, welder, electrician of 25 years, building inspector in the cities of Salinas, Marina and Seaside, inspector of power plants which sent him to several different cities in California. Known best for his sense humor, he never met a stranger! He had a passion for Hot Rods and anything with wheels! The legacy he leaves behind is a strong love of family – always being there for those you love, and his strong Christian faith – his love of God was undeniable. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of 21 and was a faithful servant the rest of his life. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Edna, brother Don Deupser, sister Janice Ward, grand-daughter Denise Norman, and many other family and friends. Survived by his wife of 63 years Barbara Deupser, Son Michael (Anita) Deupser, Daughter Kimberly (Gregory) Norman, Son Kenneth (Chamarie) Deupser, 10 Grandchildren, and 21 Great Grandchildren.
