Lillian Irene Holland Kotler December 18, 1929-September 1, 2017 San Lorenzo, CA Lillian Irene Holland Kotler, age 87, died on Friday, September 1, at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, CA. Irene (as she preferred to be called) was born to John and Mary Holland in Manderson, WY on December 18, 1929. Irene loved bowling, the Oakland Banjo Band, her Purple Ladies Group, Camping, and Oakland Fire Department family functions. She is preceded in death by her daughter. Mary Ann Ylitalol. She is survived by her husband Norman, her daughter Marla (Mark) Pfeifle of Manteca, her sons Marvin Kotler of Patterson and Norman E. (Lynda) Kotler of San Lorenzo, her sister Jo Ann Williams of Hayward, her brother John (Betty) Holland of Bothell, WA and her brother Bob Holland of Red Bluff. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Service for Irene will be held Tuesday, September 12, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, 264 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA. Irene will be laid to rest at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA September 12, at 2:30 PM.
