Obituary Rene was born in Metepec, Puebla to Manuel Garrido and Guadalupe Amador on 11/2/1959. He completed his full education in Mexico City and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Licenciatura de Economia) from La Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). At 29, he moved to the United States and worked a variety of jobs until he established himself as a Real Estate Agent in 1995. He enjoyed meditating, being in nature, discussing spirituality, being close to his loved ones, and helping anyone who came to him in need. Rene is survived by his children- Stephanie, Luis Octavio, Giselle, and ex spouse Teresa Martinez from San Jose, Ca- and countless friends and family members that loved him along the way. He is preceded in death by his biological parents, Manuel Garrido, Guadalupe Amador, his step father Melquiades Guzman, and his brother, Antonio Guzman. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of the friends and family members that extended their generosity by way of donations and kind words- these have helped us tremendously during this difficult time. Rene Garrido Amador will live in our hearts forever, and his legacy will live on through his children and family, who will never forget his funny, kind, loving, nurturing, and encouraging spirit.
