Obituary Rogelio (Boy) Morales Vallejo was born on October 20, 1955, in Cabugao, Illocos Sur, Philippines. Rogelio was the second of five children born to Mr. Melanio and Mrs. Crisanta Vallejo, both of whom preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, Rogelio was preceded in death by one sibling, Felymar. There are three remaining siblings to mourn him: Cynthia, Jovencio (Vic), Diosdado (Dadong). Rogelio immigrated to San Jose, California, in 1982. Here, he worked at Memorex for about ten years. Afterward, he was employed at IBM, which was procured by Hitachi, until 2013. Unfortunately, he was unable to continue working due to his declining medical condition. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and watching Golden State Warriors games. Rogelio met and married, Mayda Sabangan, of Cabugao, Illocos Sur, Philippines, on May 5, 1979, his loving spouse of 40 years. Both Rogelio and Mayda raised two sons: Neil and Clemens, both of whom loved and admired their father. Rogelio remained in the loving care of his spouse and family until his sudden passing on May 12, 2019, after a long and debilitating illness. Rogelio will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Memories of him will be cherished by family, friends, and associates.
