Sonia Mouser Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Obituary Sonia daughter of Luis Renteria and Ester Salinas, of Salinas California passed away on November 29th, 2021. Sonia was born in Ventura County on March 13th, 1971. She graduated from Channel Island High School in Oxnard Ca. She furthered her education at Hartnell College and then soon began her career at Mission Trails ROP as the Culinary Instructor. She was a beloved teacher for 23 years. During her tenure Sonia made a positive impact on her students by guiding and mentoring them, many students continued to check-in with Sonia as they furthered their education in Culinary Arts. During her free time, she loved to crochet, and was avid reader. She enjoyed low budget horror films while doing puzzles with the family. Sonia is a beloved wife of Christen and a devoted mother of Joseph, Anabella, and Hannah. She is also survived by her older brothers Mark and Luis Renteria Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6 celebrates those who live a good life because they’ll live with the Lord after death.
