Clinton Brian Pappadakis
February 11, 1971 - December 16, 2020
Clint was born in San Jose, CA. to James & Emily Pappadakis The
youngest of four brother's Daniel, Andrew, and twin brother Clifford. As a
child, Clint enjoyed the outdoors and often played outside with his
brothers and neighborhood friends. He also
enjoyed scouting, playing soccer, and running Cross Country and Track &
Field. His running career began in
junior high school and continued into high school and college. Clint excelled
in running and received many awards for his efforts.
Clint attended San Jose City College where he
continued to run, studied computer science, and photography. He
became a dedicated coach for over two decades at the high school he graduated
from and successfully passed on the skills and discipline he learned to hundreds
of athletes. Clint produced many top runners and champions and his teams were
perennially among the top in the league and section. He also enjoyed photography and worked in the
profession for a time before moving into a career in computers. He selflessly donated his time and skill in
both photography and computers to family and friends whenever he was called on.
Though not outgoing, Clint developed a joy of
cooking. He often barbequed at work,
when he was a photographer, and at his home.
He enjoyed using this as a medium for socializing with those he lived
with, friends, and neighbors. He even
teamed up with a friend and fellow photographer for the annual clam chowder
cook off in Santa Cruz. They did this
for several years and even brought home a first place trophy. Recently, Clint
enjoyed antiquing and visiting flea markets and second hand stores with his
twin brother. He also enjoyed camping and hiking with his family and
friends. He especially enjoyed the
splendor of Yosemite and Colorado.
Clint was always a great role model
when it came to helping others. The kind, loving, and generous
nature we enjoyed about Clint will be remembered. He utilized the
God give him well. He is survived by his mother and father, 3 brothers, 5
nieces, 2 nephews, 9 aunts, 2 uncles, 30 cousins, and 54 second cousins.
