Eugene (Geno) Leon Villicana, age 82, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2020 due to renal disease. He was born on November 15, 1937 in Morgan Hill, California to John V. Villicana and Conception V. Leon. Geno began his life as a sibling of one brother and 3 sisters before starting out on his own life adventures. He was honorable discharged from the United States Air Force after serving his country for 4 years and earning a medal of good conduct. Geno entered in to the lumber trade where he worked for many years as a logger to provide for his family whom he cherished and loved.
Geno is survived by his wife Nora Duarte Villicana, children David Duarte, Connie Villicana, and Eugenia V. Guel. Also loved by his daughter in law Maria Guel. He is Predeceased by his Daughter Theresa Perez and Son Albert Duarte. Geno also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Although Geno will be remembered for his caring nature, it is his witty sense of humor that will withstand the test of time. He was a friend to all and enjoyed his time participating in outdoor activities, crossword puzzles, cheering on the 49ers while enjoying a glass of wine with a cigarette. Some of his favorite shows to watch on television were Gunsmoke, Bonanza, M*A*S*H and any old western movie he'd come across. Geno left a permanent mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
